Our SLATE
A full-length docudrama chronicling the Life and achievements of America's first Black Congressman, the Hon. Joseph Hayne Rainey. Born enslaved, 38 yrs later he took his seat as the first duly-elected Black Congressman...and that was just the beginning. His amazing accomplishments as well as his unyielding courage in the face of withering opposition, both verbal and physical, make his an enduring legacy.
A revival of this popular webseries as a TV show. Logline: our four castmembers are at-risk high school students looking to get their Lives on track through the study of culinary arts. Each episode takes place at a different location where the restaurateur teaches them to make his/her signature dish. Simultaneously we delve into the backstory of the featured chef and castmember(s).
A 12 yr old Native child matches wits with an escaped serial killer while her parents are trapped miles away in a snowstorm. Before cellphones, before the internet, before there was a TV in every home...there was only hope and the will to stay alive to overcome an evil threat.
A neighborhood diner in an area of Queens (NY) that has seen better days. We peek in on a microcosm of patrons as well as the unpredictable staff...from the chef with a questionable resume and the servers with personal issues to the regulars and drop-ins. All create an entertaining, zany mix of personalities, and old Mr. Calloway, who tries to wrangle them all into some sort of order. But it's like herding cats.
